Model United Nations gives delegates an opportunity to represent a nation and their views in a 'global' forum. Delegates lobby, debate and negotiate with others to find solutions to international issues. Challenging, educational and social, Model UN offers it all!
This year's AMUN is looking as fantastic as ever! With two packed days of lobbying, not to mention high-level guest speakers and socialising, it's an event not to be missed!
While this event is aimed at secondary school students, there will be plenty for university students to help out with at the conference. If you have never attended a Model UN before, don't worry! There will be lots of people there just like you.
Teachers are also warmly invited to attend the Auckland Model UN. Teacher registration is $30 to help cover catering costs (morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea provided). We are also hoping to run a number of short workshops for teachers during the conference on what UN Youth offers your students.
