UN Youth Wellington is looking for motivated university students to take on an organising role for this event.  Wellington Model United Nations is our flagship regional event for high school students. The conference is usually two days long, with committee sessions on the first day and a General Assembly on the second. In the past, it has been attended by over 100 delegates and conference assistants, including those from the greater Wellington region.


Interested in being an Ambassador? Before representing our country at the UN, get some experience representing UN Youth New Zealand at your school!

Applications are now open for High School Ambassadors in the Wellington region. A job description and application form are below. Applications are due on Friday 17 October at 5pm.


In accordance with clause 9.2 of the Wellington Region Constitution, notice is hereby given for an Annual General Meeting to be held on Thursday 16 October, 5.30pm, Room 309, Student Union Building (Victoria University of Wellington). 

The AGM will include a report on the state of the region, as well as an election for the 2015 Regional Council.

UN Youth Auckland Annual General Meeting

Dear Auckland Members,

In accordance with the Auckland Regional Constitution, notice is hereby given that the 2014 Auckland AGM, to elect the Auckland Regional Council for the 2015 term, will be held at 6.30pm, Tuesday 14th October in OGGB Case Room 2.

Proxy voting forms will be made available for those who are unable to attend the AGM, more details will be released at a later stage.

UN Youth Otago Annual General Meeting

Dear UN Youth Otago region members,

This post constitutes notice for the upcoming Annual General Meeting for the Otago region of UN Youth NZ.  The annual general meeting will be held on Thursday the 9th of October at 7:00pm, in a venue to be announced.

One of our main business items for the AGM is the election of a new regional council, and as such if you'd like to nominate yourself for the election, please send a nomination to Otago President Mike Peebles (mike.peebles@unyouth.org.nz).
