Calling all Tertiary students! UN Youth’s brand new and paramount ‘Tertiary Treasure Trove’ is taking place in Auckland this September!

Tertiary Treasure Trove 2022 offers rangatahi currently enrolled in any NZ Tertiary Institute an opportunity to get involved in a day full of interactive problem-solving, networking, collaboration and healthy discourse surrounding pressing global matters! If you are looking to expand your knowledge, network and expertise on civic engagement, this event is the one for you!

What will Tertiary Treasure Trove consist of? It is a one day workshop-marathon designed for Tertiary Students passionate in civics engagement and global affairs to come together and partake in simulated workshops, based on real-events and fantasy worlds. It is a spinoff of UN Youth NZ’s ‘Interactive Problem Solving’ workshop held at high school events, instead geared more towards a tertiary demographic. This year's themes will be specifically catered towards a more tertiary-level academia. At the end of the workshops, there will be an opportunity to present to a panel of distinguished guests and multiple prizes to be won!

By partaking in UN Youth’s 2022 Tertiary Treasure Trove, you will be enhancing your experience with civics education by boosting you CV credentials! This experience is one-of-a-kind as it is catered towards tertiary students, and a great opportunity to showcase your skills to industry professionals passionate about civics engagement as well, along with networking with like-minded individuals! There is NO prior experience required, so apply, spread the word and bring your friends along as well (you might like to register in a team)!

This event will take place at the University of Auckland’s Engineering Building, between 9am to 5pm.
