To bring our brand new high school civics event to life, we’re looking for two committed superstars to join our Wellington Citizen Compass committee!
WCC is our first ever purely domestic civics based event, consisting of workshops, panels and other educational experiences! We’ve always been passionate about imparting a thorough and accessible civics education to our high school participants, and are very excited to expand this function in new ways with WCC!
Volunteers in either of the available positions will learn important organisational skills through this committee, including working within budgets and developing promotions. These skills transfer well both in terms of further volunteer work and professional development.
The available positions for this committee are a communications officer and a logistics officer.

Length of Tenure: March 2021 – May 2021
Note that these are unpaid roles. The UN Youth Wellington Regional Council reserves the right to reopen applications, and to appoint positions that may vary from those mentioned above, as well as to refrain from appointing one or more of these roles.
