UN Youth Auckland is looking for motivated and diligent university students to organise
Auckland Tertiary Interactive Problem Solving (IPS) 2022. This is a never-before-run event, and we are looking for people that can make this an unforgettable event. Further information can be found in this information pack. If this sounds like you, submit your application by 11:59PM Saturday 6th August to Na-Young Kim, the 2022 Auckland President, at [email protected].
OVERVIEW OF AUCKLAND TERTIARY IPS
The IPS (Interactive Problem Solving) event will involve teams placed in an alternate world
settings to engage with each other, solve problems and strategise their way out of
certain scenarios and conflicts which arise within their given situations. Teams will work
collaboratively to come up with solutions that are creative, innovative and diplomatic to
the issues that arise in crisis updates.
The event is the newest addition to our tertiary programme, and has never been run
before! We are looking for passionate individuals to help lead this event, provide ideas
regarding the themes for the IPS workshops and work on designing the educational
material for tertiary students to stay engaged. The committee will create workshops,
organise logistics of the event, reach out for sponsorships, maintain speaker relations
and more.
Being on the organising committee will be a rewarding experience for tertiary students
to learn leadership and organisational skills in a team environment. You will work with
passionate and like-minded volunteers while developing a conference focusing on civics
education and networking.
The event is expected to be held in September 2022. The vision for this event is
undecided and it will be up to the committee to set in consultation and approval by the
Auckland Regional Council.

Coordinator

This looks like a fantastic opportunity! The Interactive Problem Solving event seems quite innovative and demanding in terms of the skills required from the backpack battles committee members.
shell shockers is a well acclaimed multiplayer IO game whereby participants assume the roles of armed eggs immersed in highly competitive conflicts with an egg-centric theme.
